Q) Who do I call when I need a refill on my ophthalmic drops or other prescriptions?
A) If you need a prescription refill please contact your pharmacy directly.

Q) What should I do if my insurance requires a referral?
A) Please contact your primary care physician and request a referral before your appointment date. Failing to do so could result in services not being covered by your insurance.

Q) I’m a new Patient, how early should arrive for my appointment?
A) Please expect to arrive at least five minutes early for your appointment to fill out new patient paperwork.

Q) What should I bring to my appointment?
A) Please be sure you have your health insurance card, photo id, and information about current medications and past illnesses.

Q) What is my copay?
A) Co-pays and coverage very from insurance plan to insurance plan. You can contact your insurance directly using the number printed on the back of your card. Also consider using your insurer website or contacting your benefits administrator if your insurance is through your employer.

Q) What is the difference between an Ophthalmologist and an Optometrist?
A) Although both are qualified to help with glasses prescriptions and most medical issues Optometrists are contact lens specialists who went to Optometry school for special training in contact lenses. Ophthalmologists went to medical school and are medical doctors who are able to perform medical including surgery.
